working with us

Tell us about your project.  You may call, send an email, or write to us describing what you would like to have done.  Please attach some photos or diagrams to your correspondence so we can better visualize your work.

Once we’ve had a chance to understand what you would like us to do, it is time for a discussion about the project budget.   It is sometimes uncomfortable to talk about money, but it is necessary.  We need to ensure that we both understand  what will be involved, and determine the best course to follow.

We are craftsmen who take pride in delivering a product that will exceed your expectations.

We will schedule an appointment for you to come to our shop and have a personalized project planning meeting.  At this meeting we will develop a written scope of work, select materials, finalize a cost estimate, collect a 50% deposit, and schedule your work on our project calendar.

If it is convenient for you to bring over your project piece for the planning meeting, that is best.  It is always helpful when selecting materials to hold them up to the piece so you can see how they look together.  It will also give us an opportunity to look it over to try and determine if there are any obvious repairs that may be required.

We have over 160 sample books in house. Here's a sneak peak at fabric and leather. There are too many marine vinyl options to list here. Let us know what interests you.

When it comes time for us to work on your project (we normally schedule in advance), bring your piece to our shop.  Call us beforehand please, so we are ready to receive you.  We will look over your piece quickly, review your paperwork from the project planning meeting, and ask if you have any changes or questions.  Note:  changes requested at this point may affect the project cost.

While we are working on your project, if we run into something unexpected that will have an effect on the project outcome or cost, we will contact you and discuss it.

When we finish, we will contact you to schedule picking up your project.  We typically send you a photo of the finished product and a copy of the invoice for the work.

We appreciate you picking up your project shortly after completion.  The balance of payment is due at this time.  Please call ahead to assure we are available to greet you, and assist you with loading your project. When you arrive, we will go over the completed project with you.

If you have any questions or concerns in the future, please call us immediately.  We stand behind our craftsmanship and can advise you regarding any manufacturer warranties.

The smiles of our customers are priceless.
